Dr. Jin Chung - GENERAL DENTIST
Dr. Jin Chung enjoys providing preventative and comprehensive restorative dentistry in the Hayward community. Due to his strong commitment to continuing education and extensive experience in many fields of dentistry, Dr. Jin is able to offer the highest level of dental care. He focuses on treating dental problems early to prevent extensive and costly treatments later. He is a member of American Dental Society, California Dental Association and Southern Alameda County Dental Society.
Dr. Jin is originally from Southern California. He earned his dental degree from USC and also holds a degree in Biochemistry from UCLA. He also resided in different cities during his time in the U.S. Navy. Now, East Bay is his home, and he looks forward to serving you as your dentist.
Dr. Logesh Sway - PERIODONTIST
Dr. Logesh Sway graduated from dental school in 2003. He continued his education with Masters in Public Health and advanced training in periodontics (gum disease), implants and sedation dentistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His research is on “Effect of Stress on Oral mucosal wound healing.” Upon graduation, he continued to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Sway’s expertise is in bone regeneration (block grafts, chin grafts, ridge split etc.) tissue grafting, gummy smile treatment, crown lengthening, canine exposures, sinus augmentation and computer guided implant surgeries. He has been placing implants for several years with a high success rate. Dr. Sway is reputed in full mouth rehabilitation with fixed implant restorations. Dr. Sway’s advanced training and continuing education helps his patients receive the latest treatments with cutting-edge instruments. Dr. Sway’s achievements include: Honorable mention at the Midwest Society of Periodontics, Chicago, 2009; Life Sciences Award, The University of Illinois at Chicago, Research Day, 2009, Volpe Award Finalist at The Ohio State University College, OH, 2009, Young Investigator Award, Chicago, 2009.
